Welcome to this space for string players exploring their creativity!

Join a merry band of bowed stringed instrument players of all ages who are exploring creative expression through play, introspection, and collaboration!

This space is hosted by composer, violinist and violist Gloria Justen as a platform for online learning and community.

Are you a violinist, violist, cellist or bassist who is yearning to experience more freedom and fun in your music-making?

Would you like to get started on your creative journey?

We have a FREE WORKSHOP coming up called You Can Improvise and Be Creative with Music!  Registrations are now being accepted for several dates and time slots in the next few weeks. This is a 90-minute live Zoom class for intermediate- to advanced-level players.

The workshop will give you a taste of Gloria's approach, with actionable strategies you will be able to use by the end of the 90 minutes.

If you feel the call to go through a deeper transformative process --  from being stuck in your cocoon to stretching your wings in creative flight -- please join us in the 12 -week course Break Free From the Page: Liberate the Creative Musician Within You!

The very first cohort is going to begin on September 18th. This course includes becoming a founding member of String Sound Playground, a safe, private, online community for sharing knowledge and being each other’s cheerleaders.
